Thanksgiving Hiatus

We have a load of modes to go before moving on to additional entries to our growing dictionary, such as blues scales in every key and 7th chords.  We are going to take this week off to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.  Even though our dictionary is incomplete -- and may never be fully 'complete' -- we have a lot of chords, scales, and modes for fretboard and keyboard reference, as well as various lessons and entries from the past six years.

And yes, we are thankful for our regular readers, our social media subscribers, and search engine visitors.  We hope our current crop of fretboard and keyboard charts are helpful for your amazing journey in music!  Cheers, and Happy Thanksgiving! We'll post more in December!  - Your Friends at Chord du Jour!

Dictionary: Dbdim Chord

On the rare occasion you find yourself in a scale that contains the F-flat and A double-flat notes, the D-flat diminished chord might be useful.  For most other situations, the C#dim chord might be the better name to use.
