G Major Modes

These modes in G have a major key sound mostly because of the major 3rd, B:

Ionian: G A B C D E F# G
Lydian: G A B C# D E F# G
Mixolydian: G A B C D E F G

The G major triad (notes in bold) also exists in these three modes.
