Just think of the Bb9 - B-flat 9th - chord in the same terms as B9, just one fret lower.
A string = Bb (root note)
D string = D (major 3rd)
G string = Ab (dominant 7th)
B string = C (9th note)
High E string = F (perfect 5th)
